Kashmir Problem
The Kashmir problem can be viewed as:
silverbullet.gif (907 bytes) a dispute between India and Pakistan over control of Kashmir,
silverbullet.gif (907 bytes) a consequence of an unfair implementation of the Partition Act of India,
silverbullet.gif (907 bytes) an unfulfilled commitment by the United Nations since 1948,
silverbullet.gif (907 bytes) a part of the secret agenda against the Muslims, or
silverbullet.gif (907 bytes) a conspiracy against the people of the sub-continent.

Unresolved
No disease can be cured without a proper diagnosis. India and Pakistan house more than 1.2 billion brains. Regretfully, none has been able to figure the real problem out to propose a resolution. The time will never forgive those so called leader who were entrusted the responsibility by the people but for of and politicians have thoand and the problem stands unresolved after more than half a century of its recognition. As there is no shortage of the brain power then why the problem remains unresolved. leads to only one conclusion that the real problem is different than what people view as the problem. We, therefore, take a snap shot of the pre-existing conditions in the sub-continent to identify the real problem.

Pre-existing Conditions
The sub-continent was under the British rule. The English went to India as traders under the cover of East India company. The sub-continent was divided into many small states. The largest chunk of the sub-continent was under the ailing Moghal Empire. The so called traders smuggled their armed forces from England to India via their trade channels and started the process of colonization with the small states. They indulged themselves into anti state activities by sponsoring conspiracies and backing internal oppositions to the local regimes. They colonized the subcontinent in 1958 and relinquished the charge of the government after meeting heavy resistance by the natives in 1947.

volts to sabotage and destabilize local regimes. They colonized the subcontinent, ripped off its economy, exterminated skilled and tradesmen and enslaved India for over 90 years. I do not wish to go into the details of the atrocities committed during the British India but would like to note for the readers that what Jews say about Hitler is a fraction of what the English did to the natives in India. The massacres conducted against the civilians in Dhaka, Lahore, Amritsar and Peshawer are few of the horror stories of the British Raj in India.

Fundamentals of the Colonial Rule
The sub-continent was divided into many small states and a bigger chunk of India was in control of the Moghal Empire - the rulers who allowed establishment of the East India company in India. After acquiring military might the East India company started invading the sub-continent using the policy of divide and rule. They used to pick an area where the  neighbouring states had some dispute. The English used to side and support one and made it fight to its neighbouring state. As a consequence of war both the states suffered loses and became vulnerable. The English took advantage of the situation and invaded both the states. If a target state did not have a dispute with its neighbouring state then they pledged their support to the internal opposition, conspired and after the invasion they executed the traitors who sided with the English. The people who betrayed their own kind could not be regarded as loyal to the English which is an undeniable fact. The game of Divide and Rule was started some 250 years ago and is still being played in the subcontinent and all around the world. India & Pakistan, Israel & Palestine, Kuwait & Iraq, Iran & Iraq, North & South Korea, China & Taiwan and many more are the living examples of this policy.

Deprivation: Immediately after the invasion the English used to strip the state of skill, art, knowledge and wealth. They amputated hands, cut tongues, slit eyes and executed the natives known for art, skill, trade and knowledge to eliminate probability of transfer of art, skill, trade and knowledge to others. They collected the wealth and jewels and shipped to England. All the raw material was shipped to England and the manufactured goods were brought back to India.

Extermination & Suppression: In all British colonies they tried to eliminate the natives and where it could not be done (India and South Africa) a policy of suppression was adopted. Initially the English engaged in a few massacres in various parts of the sub-continent and later they continued the policy of total suppression and ruled the sub-continent on gun point till 1947 when they were forced out by the natives.

The Real Kashmir Problem
The real Kashmir problem lies in the colonial policy "Divide & Rule". Here are some of the benefits of the this problem:
1.    India and Pakistan will remain in state or fear of war.
2.    The revenue will be spent on import of arms and ammunition.
3.    As a result of export of defence needs the exporting nations will prosper.
4.    Due to the heavy defence bills, education, health and development will suffer.
5.    India and Pakistan will remain dependent on the other nations.
6.    Both India and Pakistan will remain poor.
7.    Economic growth and Industrial development will be slow.
